During the years we remember Yugoslavia as such, each republic had it's own pop festival with local stars - often musicians would travel from one of this happening to another and it was a matter of prestige to appear on as many as possible,because they had huge media coverage.
"Vaš šlager sezone" was a main pop festival in Sarajevo and Kemal Monteno actually started there in the late 1960's (1967?) so at the time this cute little single was released he was already almost a veteran on pop scene.
Monteno was always known for his heartbroken ballads but here he actually performs upbeat song - even if lyrics describe another heartbreak, music has a certain soaring quality (cemented with huge orchestration typical of the times). B side is a weeper again. Both songs are composed by singer himself and title song will find its place on his first album.
